Die Macht der Erwartung: Welche Auswirkungen haben Plazebo- und Nozebo Effekte auf die Behandlung?
Liebe Teilnehmende,
Sie lesen den Beipackzettel Ihres Medikaments und spüren bereits Magenschmerzen. Ihre Zahnschmerzen scheinen wie verflogen, während Sie noch im Wartezimmer auf die Behandlung warten. Kennen Sie so etwas auch? Erfahren Sie in unseren Vorträgen, wie Ihre eigenen Erwartungen, Gedanken und Gefühle Einfluss auf Ihre Gesundheit nehmen können. Schon lange wissen wir, dass diese Erwartungen körperliche Symptome,
die Schmerzwahrnehmung, den Verlauf einer Erkrankung und auch den Erfolg einer Therapie mitbestimmen.
Es treten sogenannte Plazebo- und Nozeboeffekte auf. In der Forschung wird daran gearbeitet, die genauen psychologischen und neurobiologischen Mechanismen zu klären, um sie systematisch zum Wohle der PatientInnen zu nutzen. Sie erfahren in unseren Vorträgen, was Sie tun können, um diese Effekte bei sich positiv zu beeinflussen.

The DFG has extended the funding of the SFB1280 "Extinction Learning" for another 4 years. We are excited to contribute to this collaborative research effort by investigating learning and extinction in the context of acute and chronic pain.

Another great success!
The Advanced Clinician Scientist program UMEA² (Chair: Prof. U. Bingel) has been recently granted by the BMBF. This program enables excellent medical specialists to focus on their research for up to six years each.
